Maria brings decades of experience in marketing, advertising, promotions, and sales. For 16 years, she served as the Director of Advertising & Corporate Partnerships at the North Carolina Symphony, where she led statewide advertising initiatives and collaborated with media outlets and key stakeholders. In addition to her media strategy work, Maria managed the stewardship of a portfolio of major corporate sponsors.

A proven leader, Maria excels in relationship building, strategic media planning, and executing impactful, results-driven marketing campaigns and special events.

Fun Fact: Although an only child, Maria is the proud mother of three accomplished adult children and the joyful “Mimi” to five energetic grandchildren — plus two beloved grand-dogs, Bentley and Sir Walter Raleigh.
